The Symposium is a 4 day event. When you submit your abstract you will be able to select multiple time slots for possible scheduling.

Do speakers get paid?

Speaking is voluntary. The Symposium does not provide speaker fees or other compensation.

What should my “Presentation Description” look like?

Write 3–5 sentences that explain what the session is about, who it’s for, and what people will learn. This text is used on the agenda brochure.

What do you need for CEU approval?

We use your outline, goals, and references (works cited) to submit for CEU approval.

  • Outline of content (bullet points are fine)
  • Goals / learning outcomes
  • References you used to build the presentation
Can I submit with a co-speaker?

Yes. The form has an optional co-speaker section. If you are presenting alone, you can skip it.

What happens after I submit?

Your submission is reviewed by the Symposium faculty. If selected, we’ll contact you by email. We may follow up for schedule and CEU materials.

How many availability slots should I choose?

Choose every slot you can reasonably present. More availability gives us more flexibility when building the final schedule.
